Car Pick-Up Guidelines
What to Check at Pick-Up
- Car Documents: Registration, valid insurance, and technical inspection papers.
- Driver's License: Ensure it's valid and acceptable in your region.
- Car Condition:
- Inspect for scratches, dents, or interior damage.
- Take photos or videos for documentation.
- Fuel Level: Confirm the level and the return policy.
- Accessories: Check for spare tire, tools, GPS, child seat (if applicable), and car keys.
What You Need at Pickup
To collect your rental car, please make sure you have:
- Valid Driver’s License Must be valid and in the driver’s name. Some providers may require an International Driving Permit.
- Passport or ID Required to verify your identity.
- Refundable Deposit The deposit amount is shown in the booking details and is returned according to the rental provider’s policy.
Important Information
- No Extra Charges You should only pay the amounts clearly shown in your booking (rental price + deposit + any selected options).
- If a rental provider asks for additional payment not listed in your booking, please contact our support team immediately at support@mcrental.app.
- Check the Car Before Pickup Make sure the car matches the photos and note any existing damage.
Damage or Lost Car Process
- Damage:
- Report new damage immediately to the agency.
- Agency will inspect and may compare to the pick-up photos.
- Charges may apply depending on the insurance coverage.
- Lost Car:
- Contact support: support@mcrental.app with subject emergency.
- A police report may be required.
- Handled according to local law and rental terms.
- Insurance Coverage: Check what is covered and what's not. Some claims may require a police report.
